Toxic terror

David Bradbury's latest film A Hard Rain argues that Australian service men and women who served in Iraq and Afghanistan are being exposed to toxic radiation.

The film shows that munitions such as armour-piercing shells contain depleted uranium. It claims that birth defects in children of Gulf War veterans is "significantly higher" than among non-deployed veterans.

Films Up North will screen A Hard Rain on Saturday, 7pm at the Thirroul Neighbourhood Centre.

It will perform on Sunday, 2pm at the Nowra School of Arts.

Admission: $8-$25. Children under 15 accompanied by an adult are free. Inquiries: 4421 3089.
